Greater Milwaukee’s Non-Profit Bikeshare
Bublr Bikes is Greater Milwaukee’s locally operated nonprofit bikeshare system. Designed for short-distance, point-to-point trips, Bublr Bikes allows members to pick up a bike at any Bublr Station and return it to another station within our service area. With over 100 stations across Milwaukee, Wauwatosa, and West Allis, we make getting around the city easy, sustainable, and affordable.
As a Bublr member, you’re not just accessing a bike; you’re advocating for safer streets for everyone. We work closely with the city, neighborhood leaders, and community members to improve infrastructure for both pedestrians and cyclists. By joining Bublr, you’re supporting efforts to build a connected, bike-friendly city. Join the Bublr community today and help us create a more accessible, and sustainable Greater Milwaukee.

You need to be at least 14 years old to ride regular Bublr Bikes and 16 to ride ebikes.

The process is called a “force dock.” If your bike isn’t registering as returned, please take a photo showing the bike at the station, clearly showing the bike number (located by the back left pedal), and one of the dock number. Text or email us these photos, the duration of your ride, and a request to force dock the bike. Also, make sure to wiggle the front of the bike to ensure it latches in properly and that the bike is securely stuck in the dock (it should not be easy to take out). If proof is not provided, you risk being blocked and charged.
Please contact us immediately by emailing support@bublrbikes.org or texting 414-931-1121.

Here are the top reasons:
Your bike wasn’t docked correctly: Please return to the station where your last bike was docked and make sure it's properly secured. You may need to wiggle the front of the bike to ensure it latches in and is firmly in place.
Your account might be delinquent or blocked: If you’re having trouble, your account could be flagged. Please reach out to us via phone, text, or email to check on your account status.
If neither of these reasons apply to you, contact us

No, we are not affiliated with any scooter service. Bublr Bikes is a locally operated nonprofit focused solely on providing bikes through a docking system. All of our bikes are docked at over 100 stations across Greater Milwaukee, including Milwaukee, Wauwatosa, and West Allis. Our bike-share program is designed to be safe, accessible, and sustainable, and we’re proud to serve the community exclusively with docked bikes. We are not connected to any other bike-sharing or scooter networks.
-
Bublr Bikes uses a docking system. If you find one of our bikes lying around, it’s likely lost or stolen. Since not all our bikes have GPS systems and we’re a small team, we rely on the community to report bikes that aren’t where they should be. If you spot a bike that isn’t docked properly, please let us know right away. We truly appreciate your help in keeping our system secure and ensuring our bikes stay in place.

Ebikes have an electric pedal assist motor that helps propel you up to 15mph. Simply turn on the motor with the button on the handlebar and start pedaling! Ebikes have a $1 unlock fee for non-Annual Passholders. If you have an Annual or Access Pass, you can use the ebikes without any additional fees!
